Estoppels are contingent upon the clearance of payments, including but not limited to cheques and electronic transfers. Should any payment fail or incur additional charges, these will be added to the condo account. The owner, as defined at the time the certificate's issuance, will be held liable for such amounts. In compliance with CPR s62.4, any pending chargebacks or contractor fees, whether for services or materials, not yet applied are considered 'in personam'--binding to the owner rather than the unit itself.
